A River Runs Through It

In my recent blog, White Elephant’s Trunk, I pointed out that there are two sides to the proposal to build a pipeline from Lake Powell to St. George:
- The side being paid for by tax dollars
- The side paid by citizens with their own time and money
Actually, Fay Cope supplied the best information in a comment to the blog. It’s worth reading! But I’ve also become aware that the opposition to the pipeline is much, much better than that! A web page and a grass-roots organization called “Citizens For Dixie’s Future” has a ton of information available.
Give it a read: Citizens For Dixie’s Future
Oh … and the picture of McRattle? Well, that’s just to beautify the page. He had moved up under the big juniper tree and was very nice about posing while I tried different focus and exposure settings to learn how to use my new camera this morning.
