Opposition against the Toquop plant is building!

Since the town of Springdale took their pioneering stand against what I have called the “smoke belching coal fired power plant” that is proposed north of Mesquite, Nevada, more and more people have come out in opposition, most recently including St. George City and Washington County Commissioners. This is something of a reversal for them and must be counted as a real victory for the people.

Now is the time to make the victory complete!

The “Citizens for Dixie’s Future” has sent out a mass email urging everyone to call Govenor Huntsman’s office at 801-538-1000 to tell them your position about Toquop. (Please call during regular business hours Monday thru Friday.)

(This has been called a poll being taken by Govenor Huntsman. I checked with Govenor Huntsman’s Press Secretary and, while they always welcome expressions from the public, they’re not trying to take a poll and they’re not keeping track of phone numbers. But call anyway!)
