I Love a Parade!

There’s something really wonderful about a small town parade. There are so few of us that half of us march while the other half watches. It’s a good thing that so many people come up from all over to help watch.
The parade was really good this year because the weather cooperated with just enough sun but scattered clouds to make things a lot cooler than last year. But I really missed the belly dancing troupe. (To review the shot of those lovlies, here’s the page for last year.)
Any significance to the rainbow in the painting on the side of the truck – or is it a Spring rainbow because Spring was on its way?
Look carefully, and you will see a Leprechaun there too. I think it’s the old “pot of gold” thing.
Either that, or it was left over from a gay pride parade?
