Please, oh please, let it be true!!
Today, the lady who doesn’t quit just did. She didn’t say exactly why, but the blogosphere is absolutely wild with speculation that she did it to make a run for President in 2012.
Go for it, Sarah! Run for President!
Way back in October of last year (The Fire Next Time), I predicted that it would be Sarah and the Mittster, locked in a fight to the death over the hearts and souls of the conservative base. (I would have written, “hearts and minds” but … well … remember we’re talking about the right wing here.)
You ain’t seen nothin’ till you seen a Evangelical an a Mormon go at it, no holds barred!
Seriously, I understand that much of America is still not quite ready for Obama’s advanced prescriptions that are absolutely required if we are to have even a chance of treating our problems. Too many people still react to labels instead of understanding the solutions we need. By the time 2012 rolls around, the Republicans might have found someone who can lie their way into office like Bush did. And we really need the complete two terms of Obama.
A serious run by Palin would be just the ticket to guarantee that the Republicans will cut themselves up so badly that Vermont’s Bernie Sanders (an announced socialist) could win against whoever survives.
But then, I’ve also read that she might run for Senator of Alaska instead. Hey! We were stupid enough to elect the idiot Bush twice. And the people in Alaska elected Ted Stevens over and over and over again.
Don’t settle for senator Sarah! Go for President! Ur better than just being a silly ol’ senator, doncha think!
Her announcement should be hereby known as the Tina Fey Full Employment Act!
Don’t keep us in the dark, Sarah; what are you going to do next to entertain us. This is gonna be fun!
Palin for President! Today I was watching an English Sparrow who has a nest of young ones nearby soften up a moth prior to taking it to the nest.I marveled that there was anything left.
I thought about this as I read your blog. First we had Bush beat us up and “I marveled that there was anything left.”But now we can look forward for Palin to finish the job.Lena
Great comment!
I marvel that there is anything left as well. When you consider the incredible mismanagement of the Bush years …

… there is just so much we can withstand. Any more and recovery just won’t be possible. I’m not sure where the point of no return is, but it ought to be a concern for everyone.
