December’s calendar is another that has been provided by Paul Mailloux of Flash Flood Photo Works in Springdale.

One of the many pleasures of walking up peaceful side canyons here in Color Country is discovering pools like this one. After a while without rain, the only water comes from perfectly clear springs. The color is reflected from the canyon walls … although I happen to know that Paul does have all the computer graphic software known to man and God.
