But you might have to move quickly! I’m not sure how long it will be listed for sale.
I dunno … this is just too weird to pass up.

If you go to this link, you can buy something called “This is a test product and nothing will be sent to you” from Amazon.com. There are four resellers. Two only want $0.01 for it but one guy wants twenty bucks. But you have to pay about five bucks shipping charge.
The customer reviews are worth going to the site to read.

“I was thrilled beyond belief when I saw Amazon was selling, “This Is a Test Product and Nothing Will Be Sent to You.” $4.99 shipping and handling is a bit steep, but we all know how fragile a pound of Test Product can be so I assume that the packaging & handling must warrant it. I have to wonder though … do they package it up and then just store it in a warehouse somewhere?
I hastily pressed “Buy with 1-Click®” with an almost orgasmic delight! I can now daydream about what I might have received if they had actually sent me the Test Product. Was it some sleek new notebook computer? A successor to the iPhone? An improved K-Y Your+Mine? Slinky negligée? One of those cool inflatable cars?
Ooooh! I get tingles ruminating over all of the tasty possibilities.
The best $5 I ever spent on nothing.”

Great!
Dan, It’s a book . That’s what
Amazon sells among other things. And what a great title. A great subject to be writing about also. Think of the possibilities. Four or five dollars seems about right for the postage and handling also. Lena
It’s not a book. It’s absolutely nothing. (Would a reseller be willing to send you a book for $0.01? There are two who are. But I’ll send you absolutely nothing for even a penny.)
Dan, you should write about Kafka in Red Room
Thanks for the suggestion.
Red Room is a real scam. They want $250 !! to be an “author” on their page. A lot of people have evidently given them the money. That’s not for me.
But I have signed up for their free “community” level membership and I usually submit a blog for their weekly theme. I allow myself to be a little more “artsy-craftsy” on that page. Last week’s theme was Kafka but I didn’t write one because I know very little about him.
This week’s theme is “Freedom” and I did write one. You can find it at:

There are half a dozen or so other blogs that I have written there too.
